Mom and Dad were at Abbott this week and after a long wait, saw the main man himself, Dr. Transfeldt. He has removed the "leg portion" of her brace! The brace no longer extends past her mid-section. She reports she is still reaching for the latch on the side out of habit when assuming a sitting position.

As you see from the photos below, (Marilynn and Rod's son) Ed's baby arrived this week! Mom reports he has fine features like his Mom and he is named Noah Steven.

Mom and Dad have been quite social this Fall and have attended several exciting events including their niece Stephanie Peters' wedding (daughter of Ken and Sharon Peters). Mom looked lovely in a navy blue ensemble and comfy new Vera Wang flats purchased just for the event. They had a lot of fun seeing and catching up with all of the rellies in town for the wedding and had a few get-togethers post wedding. I'm glad she was feeling up to all of the festivities and outings! She really enjoys a good visit!
