Just spoke to Mom/Marilynn on the phone. She sounds good. Very chipper. Said the day is going fine and she was able to watch a whole movie (which she could not do that at this point after the surgery last year).
As I called, she was just on her way out the door with my Dad for her last walk of the day. It is a muy, muy humid evening.
Tomorrow she has an 11 am appointment with Dr. Transfedt's assistant, Dr. Mike, at Abbott. It is her first official check up since the surgery. So they will be heading "into town" again! Hopefully it all goes well and they don't dilly dally too long. She was pretty worn after after her last run to Minneapolis.
