9:30 am. Marilynn had a good evening last night and her best night's sleep so far....she was not up as often as her first night home. I did get Dad horizontal (finally) by setting him up with sheets and a pillow on the back room couch...although he alternated between the chair and couch so he could be up when she is up. They enjoyed a nice breakfast (her appetite is improving a bit) and went walking early this morning. Just getting up the hill out here is a biggie, and then she and Dad walk about 3 houses down the street before turning back. The brace restricts the size of her steps so she is walking slowly. Yesterday they went out walking 3 times! Each walk takes about 15 minutes.
She went 4 hours and 20 minutes between pain pills last night, which is an improvement.
When I last checked on her she was very chipper and wanted to discuss our 4th of July dinner plans! Chicken, burgers or brats? That's a tough one. It is a GORGEOUS Minnesota summer day/holiday by the lake.

Please know your thoughts, prayers, emails, (yes, she does get online already) flowers and cards are really helping her healing and her spirits. Everyone who has stopped by reports how remarkable her condition is! Thank YOU ALL! Happy 4th!

You da' woman! I am enjoying your updates very much. Do you think we could keep doing this when everyone is healthy?
